The Black Bull Hotel Killearn is a well presented, local hotel in the heart of Killearn near Loch Lomond.  The warm, stylish décor, leather sofas and coal fires offer a modern take on a Scottish country inn. A genuinely friendly welcome awaits (especially from dogs Arhcie and Penny!) and with superior cooking ranging from tasty homemade soups and terrines through to mouthwatering puddings and desserts, it’s no wonder people are prepared to travel quite a distance to come here for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner.  

When staying away, you want a bedroom in which you can escape and relax, be spoilt in comfort, yet sleep as soundly as when at home. You’ll find all the services you’d expect in your en-suite room: comfortable beds, crisp linen, fluffy towels, warm lighting, digital Freeveiw television, well stocked beverage tray with handmade shortbread and many other thoughtful touches to help make your stay an enjoyable one.

Several rooms have plenty of space for extra beds or cots to accommodate our younger guests. The Junior Suite is a lovely spacious room overlooking the garden and is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion such as an anniversary or birthday. We are always happy to arrange for an arrangement of flowers, chocolates or a bottle of champagne to be placed in your room before arrival to further enhance your experience.
